JOIN US FOR AN EVENING OF FUN
What better way to toast to Spring’s imminent arrival and sample some quality wines and beer than to join us at the CaryVino. Plus, you are helping District 26 kids at the same time! Join us March 20, 2010 at the Trout Valley Barn in Cary, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The selection of wines and beer will be provided by Orchard Prime Meats, a local purveyor of fine wines. Guests will also be able to purchase wines and beer from the tasting for their private use. Along with our mix of wine, beer, food and music, we will also have our silent auction which includes the popular Principal for a Day and Front Row Seats items.
WE HAVE SOLD OUT!
Our event has SOLD OUT. Thanks to all who purchased tickets! We are accepting names for our waiting list. Please e-mail CEFevent@cary26foundation.org to request that your name be put on it. It will be on a first come, first served basis.
YOUR SUPPORT REALLY COUNTS
This past fall, the Foundation received the most grant applications ever. Thanks to the generosity of people like you, we were able to award ten grants, including reading comprehension support, guided reading books and literacy stations.
We’re proud to announce we’ve awarded over $38,000 in grants since our inception in 2004.
This year, proceeds from the event will go to our Back to Basics
campaign which will benefit all D26 children and help provide staff with much needed resources for their classrooms.
